PREBOND-58 is a ready-to-use, water-based, phosphoric acid and zinc phosphate-based metal treatment solution developed for effective rust removal, light oil cleaning and temporary rust prevention applications. The solution removes rust and light oil efficiently while leaving a thin protective conversion film that helps prevent flash rusting for approximately 30*–45* days under normal indoor storage conditions. It is suitable for dipping, brushing and swabbing methods and eliminates the need for additional rust preventive oil or wax.

APPLICATION METHOD:
1. Dipping Method (Recommended for Small Components):
Immerse the rusted component completely in PREBOND-58 for 05–10 minutes.
Do not rub or scrub the component during immersion. The solution automatically dissolves rust from the metal.
Remove the component and wipe it dry using a clean cotton cloth. Do not rinse with water.
After drying, a grey-coloured zinc phosphate coating is formed, providing temporary corrosion protection for approximately 01–02 months under normal storage conditions.
No additional rust preventive oil is required for temporary storage.
2. Wipe / Brush Method (For Large Structures Before Painting or Powder Coating)
Remove loose or heavy rust using a wire-brush or sand-paper.
Apply PREBOND-58 directly using a clean cotton cloth or brush.
Allow the solution to react for 02 minutes.
Thoroughly wipe the surface with a clean, dry cotton cloth.
